Mission Statement

 The mission of the Kern County Behavioral Health Board is to advocate for individuals and families living with mental illness and/or addiction by supporting and overseeing the department and providing recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.

Standing committees include:

  • Adult Treatment & Recovery Services
  • Children's Treatment & Recovery Services
  • System Quality Improvement (SQIC)
