Mental Health First Aid is a course that teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial help and support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
Class Requirements
- Must attend full eight-hour day session
- First come first serve
- We recommend that you pre-register to make sure we have sufficient materials
- We have a class requirement of minimum five and maximum of 30.
- If less than five, class will be re-scheduled for the following month
- If we reach maximum capacity, we will add your name to our waiting list.
Depending on capacity, we may offer tailored learning focusing on specific population such as adults, youth, or Spanish-speaking.
