KernBHRS's Mobile Crisis Response is made up of behavioral health professionals that offer immediate access to behavioral health services, substance use services, and crisis support, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. These services are available to people of all ages, and in any language.

If you or someone you know is in crisis and needs immediate assistance, you can call 988 or Kern County's dedicated Mobile Crisis Response line at (661) 868-8200. Call takers will assess the situation and when appropriate, send the Mobile Crisis Response Team to assist. If the situation has safety concerns or medical needs, the team will collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency medical services.
